Noorio offers two types of IP cameras: battery-powered and wired cameras.
1
Battery-powered devices (e.g., B200/B210/B310 Battery Cameras) do not support continuous recording due to concerns about battery life and potential wear on the internal EMMC storage caused by extended data writing.
2
Wired devices (e.g., T110 Pan&Tilt) support continuous recording. The recorded footage is stored on an external SD card, using a circular writing approach that automatically deletes old data to make space for new recordings when the SD card is full.
Storage Capacity & Lifespan
1
A 32GB SD card can store approximately 72 hours of continuous recording, which translates to data being overwritten approximately every three days.
2
The lifespan of SD cards used for continuous recording can vary based on their type and storage capacity. Ordinary SD cards typically support several hundred write cycles. However, continuous recording can accelerate the aging process and potential damage to the SD card.
SD Card & Data Management
1
If the SD card gets damaged during use, users should promptly replace it with a new one. After replacement, it is essential to reformat the new SD card and re-enable continuous recording to ensure the device functions smoothly.
2
Noorio does not take responsibility for data loss caused by SD card damage.
Users are strongly encouraged to back up important recordings and data to a local storage device independently to safeguard against data loss.
